Vinyasa & Vino at Red Fox Winery
Sunday August 10th 11AM-12PM
Rise and wine with us all summer long at Red Fox Winery! Root to Rise Yoga will be offering gentle vinyasa classes once a month on Sundays at 11AM at the winery. Dress in comfortable, weather appropriate clothes as we will practice outdoors. Please bring your own mat or a beach towel if you don’t have one. Light snacks, water, and a glass of wine will be provided with the purchase of your ticket.

Breathe & Restore with Kristen
Sunday August 3rd 6-7:30PM
Join Kristen Salata for this special 90 minute restorative offering intended to calm your nervous system and nourish your body and mind. Think Breathe & Be with a little more movement.
We will begin with breathwork and vagus nerve stimulation before exploring slow, intentional movements and moments of stillness. We will seal our practice with an extended savasana while Kristen offers optional Reiki-infused head, neck, shoulders, and chest massages. It is our hope that students will step off their mats feeling relaxed, centered, and refreshed.

The Solar Set with Alexandra

The Solar Set is a fixed sequence built on the Awakening Yoga Academy's Solar Vinyasa Practice. Guest instructor Alexandra Roach will guide you through a balanced set of postures designed to build strength, flexibility, and coordination. This class is intended to take the guesswork and decision fatigue out of your day, leaving you free to clear your mind, focus on your practice, and drop into the moment.

Grow Your Roots: Rise & Release

Plant some seeds and grow your practice with us! In each Grow Your Roots workshop we will break down a selection of yoga postures, skills, and sequences. We will discuss and practice common variations of each pose, and you will receive individualized attention to help you find a place to land that works for you.
In this installment of Grow Your Roots, we will explore a broad range of inversions, shifting our perspective by getting our hips above our hearts and our feet above our heads. From bridge pose to standing folds and crow pose to legs up the wall, you'll experience the subtle differences between several inversions with ample time in each shape for hands on feedback and assists.

Sit to Stand Sustainability Workshop with Alexandra
Saturday September 6th 10:00-11:30AM
In this 90 minute workshop, we will consider how mobility is not yoga, but also how it’s not, NOT yoga. We will explore strategies for coupling our mobility practice with our yoga practice--specifically, our ability to sit down on the earth and get back up!
Expect to move through full body CARS (controlled articular rotation) of your joints from the bottom up as a way to examine and maintain the range of motion in your body followed by a ladder flow where we begin on the ground, get up, and get back down again with the option to use props, hands, or no hands.
This workshop is intended to provide each student opportunities to inquire about their own individual body, how they move, and why they move the way they do, with guidance and full permission to change the practice and poses to work for their body rather than changing their body to fit the shapes.

Fall Equinox Yin & Sound Bath with Phoebe

Embrace the balance of the Fall Equinox in this special Monday night offering! Join Phoebe Hassaine as we mark the turning of the seasons with a grounding yin yoga practice designed to support the body’s transition into autumn. We’ll focus on the pathways associated with this time of reflection and release before settling in for a soothing sound bath and a silent savasana.
